How to Get Cheap Movie Tickets
The development of "teleticket" systems (for example: 777-Film in New York) at movie theaters has led to an opportunity to see movies for cheaper. These theaters allow you to reserve tickets via telephone by charging them to a credit card, for a service charge of about $1 per ticket. Therefore, the normal New York City $9 movie ticket costs $10, total.

"Ok, you just told me how to get a $9 movie ticket for $10... how do I get cheap movie tickets?"

Good question. By ordering tickets over the phone, the theaters lose their key opportunity to identify your age. Therefore, lie about your age. Simply order senior citizen tickets at their steep discounts. A senior citizen ticket costs $7 ($6 + $1 service charge). Therefore, you're getting into the movie for a total of $7 instead of the $10 it would have cost if you paid regular price... and you get a reserved seat, so never have to deal with sold out movies.

I have done this over 20 times, and have never been questioned by the "ticket ripper" person. If somebody does give you trouble, swear that you ordered adult tickets and blame the mistake on their "crazy technology."
